The Holiday Season is Upon Us...

...and Mimsi Bags is ready to help you bless your family & friends with fashion!

We are headed to New York this week to do some fabric shopping, and hope to come home with fabulous fabrics and inspiration for new bags!  Until then we want to show off some of our latest creations - take a look!

Michaela

Michaela is a wedge-shaped handbag that is almost a clutch.  The handle is sized carry the purse just under your arm when hung from your shoulder, and also works great in your hand.

Hiding under the flap is a zippered top and there is also a zippered coin/ID pocket inside.  Michaela is available in one fabric (as seen to the left) or in a two-tone style (a different fabric on the flap than the body).

For those of you waiting so patiently, we once again have a limited number of handmade chiffon scarves and velvet wraps from Designs by Carollee.  The proceeds from the sale of her merchandise will be going to her granddaughters in her memory.  While we can no longer accommodate special orders, we do hope that you will enjoy the beautiful scarves and velvet wraps that we are able to offer you.

We also have a few of her beautiful silk & velvet table runners available - they are simply gorgeous!  If you are planning a Holiday gathering and want something stunning for your table or mantle, these are sure to fit the bill!  Take a look!

They are available in a range of colors suitable for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukkah & every season (even a couple that are perfect for Valentine's Day!)

In our last newsletter we promised a drawing for a Mimsi Bag... well, we must apologize for the delay (we had a computer crash). Our winner is Kathie Dalton!  Congratulations Kathie - your Mimsi Bag will be shipped out this week.

And in the spirit of Holiday giving, we will be holding another customer drawing just in time for Christmas, so be sure to get those orders in by December 10th!

Holiday Schedule

While our website is open 24/7, our office will not be. Here is a list of the dates that our office will be closed, and the deadline for Christmas orders.

November 1-6 - New York Garment District
November 22-27 - Thanksgiving
December 18-January 2 - Christmas

All orders that you want to arrive before Christmas & Chanukkah need to be placed by December 10th.  We will accept orders through December 15th for Holiday delivery, however there will be a $5 charge for rush completion.
